What would you do if you had a weekend all to yourself?

Life gets so hectic sometimes that we never make free time to so some of the simple things in life.

Granted I have the luxury from working at home. Well some call it a luxury, but it is honestly not that easy. Working from homes you can never escape the laundry overflowing in the hamper, layers of dust piling up on the coffee table and wooden floor, soggy vegetables in the fridge you were going to cut up and have quick access for a snack.  To do lists written on the whiteboard getting longer and longer and the list goes on.

Starting this weekend I am going to do one thing for myself.  Something as simple as getting a pedicure, or taking a bath and deep conditioning my hair and slathering on a masque for my dry itchy skin that winter has created.  Or maybe a long walk with the dogs in the woods and take some pictures that I can print and frame for the Living Room.  Whatever it is I know I will enjoy overlooking the dirt, laundry, dust and dirty dishes and counter tops for at least an hour.

Once I get the hang of putting myself first, I may even venture out for a full day of Antiquing!

Whatever it ends up being, I know it will be for me and make me a better person. When you work 7 days a week behind a computer you forget what the real world is like.  Let me know what you have done for yourself lately, maybe we can meet somewhere for coffee and enjoy the day together!

Now, I have to go do that laundry, dust and make dinner.  After I pack orders of course. Then I can start my adventure tomorrow without feeling guilty!

Here is wishing you adventure this weekend!

My Beauty Horoscope - What's Yours?

Cancer
2015 means that Cancer will be heading back to work in a big way. "Jupiter is in your sign, so there's new change and new opportunity to get into a routine," Edut says. "Plus, Saturn is in your healthy living and work house for three years, so you're going to be at the gym a lot more."

But, what's an off-duty Cancer to do? "You'll want to make your home a sanctuary, and a beautiful space to entertain," Edut adds, suggesting warm colors in earthy tones, pale pinks, and neutrals.

Noto interpreted this with a bit of bronzer on the face for a warmer complexion. As for the eyes, "I wanted to play on the shell concept," she explains. "So, I emulated the ocean by using a loose orange pigment on the eyelid, creating an oval shape and rimming the top and bottom lids with a small, round shadow brush. Then, I added a little bit of pale-green powder right where the eyelid meets the browbone, taking it down the center and straight to the lashline."
