Mineral Silk Blemish Buster Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin

Having issues with break outs, blackheads or cystic acne?

Our Blemish Buster Cleansing Gel
will help remove dead skin cells letting your skin rejuvenate faster! This gel cleanser is sulfate free and paraben free. It is a black viscous foaming gel cleanser that has great slip. It is packed with ingredients that are perfect for acne prone and oily skin. Blemish prone skin needs to have the dead skin cells removed from the surface of the skin to prevent future blackheads, pimples or cysts. Washing your face more than twice a day is not necessary and can actually lead to more problems. You simply want to remove the surface impurities and the dead skin which is blocking the pores. Treating the acne prone skin harshly and over cleansing the skin will only make an already oily face produce more oil. Stop stripping your skin of its natural oils and start treating it gently; you'll love the end results!

Three of my favorite ingredients in this product that help with acne and inflammation-

Activated Charcoal
-
draws bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne. Charcoal is not metabolized, or absorbed by the body, but it can be used to treat some poisonous bites and disinfect some wounds. Be sure to give all new skin care products at least 2 to 3 weeks to start working. Changing what you use on your skin can sometimes cause flare ups. But, the good news is this cleanser is going to help slough skin and start cleaning out those nasty pores!
Roman Chamomile Distillate is a wonderful skincare ingredient for calming rashes, sensitivities, rosacea, acne, heat rash, and redness. It is anti-inflammatory as well as being a good anti-oxidant, anti-irritant and wound healer. It may also ameliorate the look of UV damaged skin and reduce stinging and irritation.

Tea tree oil has skin-soothing properties and is also an antioxidant.

This product took about 3 weeks to really kick in but now that I'm seeing results it's totally worth the wait! I love all the natural ingredients. My sensitive skin does NOT react well to harsh chemicals. It can be a little drying but I just combine organic jojoba oil with it & it takes care of it.Plus a toner & lotion will even things out.

I'm a first-time user of this product, and so far I'm very pleased.  It leaves my skin cleansed of excess oil without leaving my face dry and taught.

Brightening Beer Facial

I am more of a wine drinker than a beer girl. Although I do like a cold corona with lime while sitting on the beach. But lets be honest, that only happens once every couple of years! Luckily my hubby is a beer drinker and we always have something in the fridge, so I never have an issue whipping up this mask.

What you need:
1 egg white; ½ cup beer (any brand); and 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice. No limes handy feel free to use some lemon juice!

How it works: Beer is a soothing cleanser. “It contains B vitamins, hops, saccharides, and yeast, which help dissolve dead skin cells and increase the skin’s luminosity. When mixed with egg white, the yeast in the beer creates a filmy mask that hydrates and improves the elasticity of the skin. Adding a dash of lime, a source of vitamin C, helps to clear pores and fade brown spots.

Do it yourself: Combine the egg white and beer with the lime juice. Slather onto the face. After 10 minutes, rinse with warm water.

Wait! If your hair is feeling a little lifeless and flat, use the yolk and remainder of beer to make yourself a hair masque!

Beer is definitely worth trying out to make your hair feel a little fuller. And, in order to make this mask even better, simply add one egg yolk. So one egg yolk and 2 oz of beer (some claim it should be flat or that you should cook off the alcohol) I just use it straight from the bottle – how simpler can it be! Apply this mixture on your damp hair, wrap it in plastic and let it sit over the next 30 minutes.
